Handcrafted brass cooker hoods
Brass cooker hoods are available in a range of beautiful finishes. Choose from natural brass or from an innovative range of aged brass finishes.
All brass cooker hoods are made by hand, to order.
Brass cooker hood finishes include:
- Cambridgeshire finish – Beautiful, natural milled brass with timeless appeal
- Somerset finish – Subtle, yet striking with multi-hued elements
- Wiltshire finish – Light, intriguing colour that’s always revealing more
- Natural brass finish – Natural brass with plenty of colour, depth and character
Creating your brass cooker hood
We take the dimensions you provide and laser cut the size and shape from a brass sheet (max size 1000mm x 2000mm).
Once the metal has been prepared, we’ll shape it so it fits perfectly. We then age the brass if required using our own specialist process.
We will then seal the brass in a tough, transparent lacquer to protect it and prepare it for shipping.
You can also use natural brass instead of aged brass. This doesn’t require the lacquer but it’s still an option.
Everything is done by hand. Everything is done by eye, with love, which will show in the end product!
Caring for your brass cooker hood
One of the benefits of brass is low maintenance. The metal is tough, yet pliable and our lacquer is designed to provide all the protection it needs.
Caring for your brass cooker hood is easy. Simply wipe down regularly with warm soapy water and a soft cloth. That’s it!
No need for abrasives or specialist cleaners. Just use what you have lying around.
Full care instructions are included with every order.
