Handmade brushed brass splashbacks
Brushed brass is made using a specialist process that takes the top layer of shine off the metal to create a brushed effect.
All products are created by hand to your exact specifications.
We first cut your splashback to size using a precision laser. We will cut any holes for sockets or pipes and ensure the splashback fits perfectly into place.
We’ll then prepare the metal for treatment and apply the brushed effect until it meets your requirements.
Once complete, the splashback is inspected for quality and finish and then covered in a tough, clear lacquer.
The lacquer is optional, but we recommend it. It will protect your splashback from damage and ensure it continues to look amazing for many years to come.
Once lacquered and fully protected, your splashback will be shipped to your door ready for fixing to the wall.
If you need a particularly large splashback, we will prepare several sheets of brass at once. Maximum sheet size is 2000mm x 1000mm, orders larger than this will comprise multiple sheets.
All sheets will be prepared at the same time by the same team and will be as similar as possible. Minor variations in pattern are possible though.
Mounting your brushed brass splashback
Mounting your brushed brass splashback is very straightforward. Sheets are light enough to be secured by epoxy or suitable adhesive.
As we cut the splashback to your exact dimensions, it should slide perfectly into place and require little or no adjustment.
All you need to do is prepare the wall so it’s flat and the adhesive can stick, offer up the splashback to make sure it fits and then apply the adhesive and secure it into place.
Once the adhesive has dried and edges sealed, your splashback is ready to use!
Caring for your brushed brass splashback
Caring for your brushed brass splashback is very straightforward. The lacquer protects the brass from daily use so a wipe down with warm soapy water and a soft cloth will be sufficient to keep it looking amazing.
We provide full care instructions with every splashback, so you’ll know exactly how to care for it.
