Halman Thompson recently completed a bespoke aged copper backboard for a breakfast bar in a customer’s kitchen. This unique copper panel adds a personal touch to the space, elevating the overall aesthetic and providing a distinctive focal point.
The aged copper sheet serves as a stunning backdrop for enjoying a big bowl of cereal in the mornings, but also adds a practical element for protecting the furniture from kicks and scuff marks from shoes and feet.
This breakfast bar back is enhanced by under-counter lighting which reflects off the surface to create a warm, glowing effect. This glow is beautifully complemented by the client’s bright yellow bar stools, adding a vibrant pop of colour to the space.
