Hand-built copper cooker hoods
Copper cooker hoods are available in any shape or size and a selection of specially prepared finishes.
Those finishes include:
- Ayrshire finish – Speckled aged copper with elements of verdigris throughout
- Cheshire finish – Rich aged copper finish with levels of colour throughout
- Hertfordshire finish –Lustrous aged copper finish with deep areas of verdigris
- Natural copper finish – All the beauty, warmth and welcome of natural copper
- Northumberland finish – Aged copper finish with complex swirls or verdigris
Creating your copper cooker hood
All copper cooker hoods begin life as copper sheets. Those sheets are available at a maximum size of 1000mm x 2000mm.
We measure the template for your cooker hood using the dimensions you provide. We then precision laser cut to that exact size. We’ll then bend your copper cooker hood into the precise shape you’re looking for and finish to an exceptional standard.
For aged copper finishes, our expert artisans use specialist ageing techniques to deliver the exact colour and tone you’re looking for and then stop ageing.
Finally, we’ll apply tough transparent lacquer to protect the metal from daily use and the environment.
Natural copper can be left as bare metal or optionally finished in the same lacquer.

Caring for your copper cooker hood
As well as looking amazing, copper cooker hoods are also very low maintenance. Once in position, they need minimal cleaning to keep them looking amazing.
Simple wash regularly with a soft cloth and warm soapy water. No need for specialist products or complicated care here!
