Handcrafted metal wall panels

All of our finishes are available with metal wall panels. Our most popular finishes include:

How we create metal wall panels

All metal wall panels begin life as metal sheets that measure 2000mm x 1000mm. They are prepared to the exact colour and tone required and can be cut to almost any size or shape.

We artificially age the metal to the required colour and tone and stop the ageing process. We then seal the metal using gloss lacquer. The lacquer not only gives the metal sheet a lovely shine, it also protects it from damage, UV light and staining.

For larger installations, we prepare several metal sheets at the same time to maximise uniformity as much as possible.

Fitting metal wall panels

The metal wall panels are strong but relatively light and can be fixed to a wall using adhesive. We recommend an epoxy resin or one of the newer liquid nail adhesives.

Prepare the wall first to ensure a flat, clean surface and apply the tiles in the desired order. Once dry, the tiles should remain in place for as long as you need them.

Caring for your metal wall panels

Metal wall panels from Halman Thompson are very low maintenance. Clean as required using warm soapy water and a microfibre cloth. Do not use abrasives or harsh chemicals otherwise you may remove the lacquer.

If the lacquer is removed, the ageing process begins again, which could mean a change in colour, depth or tone in the affected area.

We provide full aged metal care instructions with every order.

Metal wall panels are ideal for innovative interior designs that want to be different while also being elegant. Panels are lustrous, hard wearing, low maintenance and easy to install. What other interior finish gives so much while requiring so little?
