Sometimes it’s the little things that make a difference. Subtle, understated and yet inescapable. That’s how we would describe these aged brass stair risers.
Complete with a wax finish, these stair risers are made from our Wiltshire brass that offers a lightly aged look with a lovely mottled effect.
Combined with the dark paint on the stair treads and the light grey runner down the centre, this customer’s stairway makeover uses different colours and textures that make for a real statement to an otherwise overlooked part of the home.
We also think the carpet was a touch of genius. Rather than leaving the stairs bare to show off the golden brass, Laura has opted to add a soft, plush carpet runner to create a more inconspicuous look. It just goes to show there’s more than one way to redecorate your stairs!
